The Division of Public Affairs brings Government and Community Relations (GCR) and University Communications and Marketing (UCM) together to create valuable opportunities for greater collaboration and a more unified approach to sharing the Tufts story and advocating for our interests with our many audiences, host communities, and constituencies at the local, state, and federal levels.
Government and Community Relations
GCR is the university’s primary liaison for our neighbors, community partners, and government officials. We help Tufts use its resources, expertise, and knowledge to benefit the people of Boston, Grafton, Medford, and Somerville.
University Communications and Marketing
UCM tells the university story, engaging internal and external audiences through media relations, communications, branding, and marketing efforts. We increase awareness, build connections, and inspire pride in Tufts.
